Graydon Garden

I’m 17, and I build software that has to survive contact with the real world — real money, real users, real consequences. Then I write down how it works.

01 — yeswekanban · live

Turn learning into a job.

My dad was tired of paying for programs I quit. So instead of another tutor, he gave me a real, paid internship — real work, real deadlines, real money. It worked better than anything else had. The next summer I built it into a product.

yeswekanban is a platform where a kid picks what they want to learn, an AI agent turns it into a plan of real paid work, and a parent pays them for what they actually finish. The chore of “studying” becomes a job with a paycheck.

I built the whole thing solo — the AI planning agent, the Stripe payment flow, COPPA-compliant handling of minors’ data, row-level database security, and the safety systems that let kids, money, and AI share one product without anything going wrong. It’s been live since June 2026, and my first customer is my dad.

The bet: kids don’t lack motivation, they lack real stakes. Give the work genuine consequences and the motivation takes care of itself.

02 — Kinetic Break · playable

A game where physics is the combat.

Kinetic Break is a roguelite where the combat system is the physics engine. Every attack — including the enemies’ — is a real physics body. You don’t take “magic damage”: you catch the rock thrown at you and launch it back, pin an enemy under sudden mass, tether two bodies together, or open a portal that conserves momentum. Built on a real 2D physics engine, with a run structure, bosses, and a leaderboard.

About

I’m Graydon — 17, a self-taught builder. I’m drawn to problems where software has to work in the real world: real users, real money, real consequences. I build the thing, ship it, write down what I learned, and do it again.
